Our week long camping trip was a big success. Swimming, relaxing, reading, exploring, hiking and just doing nothing were the highlights of our adventure. It is amazing how well Addie has adjusted to the limited use of her arm. Addie is wrapping up her summer with a weekend trip to Silverwood, and then off to her favorite camp with Tamarack Grief Resource Center.
We continue to learn more about her disease through the Lymphangiomatosis & Gorham’s Disease Alliance. It is very informative as well as scary. I continue to hope that somehow the radiation has simply wiped out the disease – but that is something we can only pray and hope for as we move into the future.
